I regret that Ha-Joon Chang's accent makes it a challenge to understand him. He does, however, support the finding that I describe in my series (written in German – here and here) on free trade. Note his remark toward the end of the interview, where he points out that in recent decades less developed countries (LDCs) have suffered severely from policies pushed by international organisations intent on imposing a strict free trade regime on them.
