Official institutions lying about scientific facts is one of the sad hallmarks of our politicised world of eco-theology.
Germans are told or left to think by institutions like the German Weather Service that winters have become warmer in Germany, when they have actually cooled during the past 30 years.

That holds true even for urban areas where measurements are dubious in that measuring devices are located largely in urban heat islands (- in fact, worldwide much of Global Warming is due precisiely to this heat island effect, and not to human CO2 emissions).
In the remaining 5% of the country, winter cooling has been still more significant during the past 30 years.

Summers have become slightly warmer in Germany during the same periode, though to a degree not remotely resembling the alarmist prognostications (but in sync with natural variations), and in glaring contradiction with the claim that continuous increases of CO2 emissions cause global warming. Why only in summer?
