A Conversation with Ludwig Ehrhard (1963)

Interesting, Ehrhard  commenced his academic career by studying — see time mark 09:40 to 09:55 — business administration, corporate finance and economics, later adding sociology and finally rounding off the curriculum with philosophy - just the opposite course I had taken. Starting off with philosophy, I soon felt a need to bring the social dimension (sociology) into the philosopher's rather abstract view of the world. Later I felt an urge to overcome the sociologist's ignorance of the economy and economic theories, eventually delving deeply into the various applications of economic reasoning in business life, such as business administration and corporate finance.
