My predictions for tonight's matches: 

Dortmund won't be able to eliminate Monaco. 

Incidentally, I'm annoyed by Tuchels' dishonest complaint that Dortmund had been dealt an injustice when the UEFA decided to postpose the first leg of the Dortmund-Monaco encounter by only 22 hours. 

The fact of the matter is that no one knows what the right period of postponement might be and how a lag affects individual players and team performance, while Tuchel implies there is a unique and objective right answer, which was supposedly ignored by UEFA at the expense of Dortmund.

While yesterday's encounter between Real Madrid and Bayern München doesn't strengthen my confidence in referee performance, I neither expect another total pro-Barcelona failure of the arbiter, nor do I fear that Juve's players will turn out psychologically as brittle as PSG's anti-heroes.

I predict, Juve will prevail over Barcelona to move on to the semi finals. 

In fact, I'd love to see Monaco and Juve in the final.

[Juve setzt sich gegen Barcelona durch, weil die Katalanen nicht schon wieder auf eine völlig zu ihren Gunsten "verpfiffene" Partie rechnen können. Außerdem schätze ich Juve nervenstärker und taktisch cleverer ein als das armselige PSG.

Monaco wird gegen Dortmund ins Halbfinale einziehen. 

Übrigens bin ich verärgert über die unredliche Behauptung des Dortmunder Trainers, Tuchel, die UEFA habe seine Mannschaft dadurch benachteiligt, dass sie das wegen eines Terroranschlags abgesagte Spiel schon für den nächsten Tag angesetzt hatte.

Niemand weiß, welche Spieler und welche Mannschaften auf welche Vertagungsfristen psychologisch und leistungsmäßig wie reagieren werden. Tuchel, begierig auf eine Ausrede für die Heimschlappe, unterstellt aber es gäbe eine eindeutige, objektiv zu ermittelnde Antwort auf diese schwierige Frage. Mit seinem rhetorischen Winkelzug suggeriert Tuchel: wir werden von Terroristen angegriffen und dann hetzt man uns schon am nächsten Tag ins Stadion, da kann man doch nur verlieren. Schiebung!]
