It is ironic how protectors of the environment become the most powerful driving force in destroying nature, and, as mentioned at the very end of the interview, how the left (whose main representative in Germany used to be the social democratic SPD, has turned away from its classical clientele, the broad working population, catering to smaller but better off niche strata, among them those who are wealthy enough to afford clinging to expensive phantasmagorical Green dreams.
