Intelligent People Dumbed Down by "Environmental" Superstition

For decades a mass dumbing down of the population by "environmental" superstition has been going on, which conditions intelligent people with otherwise good educational backgrounds to be chained and channelled in their thinking by false taboos, instead of being encouraged to search for and critically look at evidence and viable solutions.

As a consequence there is an increasingly dangerous and destructive accumulation of ill-advised and irrational policy decisions (Energiewende), while obviously sound solutions are treated with disdain and hatred so that the search for reasonable approaches, if it is pursued at all, is being massively torpedoed by political repression and repetitive and omnipresent propaganda exercising subliminal dominance over peoples' minds and defining their cultural identity.

(Culturally conditioned scientists are quite capable of applying the scientific method in  certain restricted areas, while being led by irrational, yet culturally preponderant biases in many other domains that may even include aspects of their specific field of scientific reserach — to which indulgence they may be all the more prone when the science — like climate science — is emergent, immature, full of untested factors and fronts, extraordinarily malleable, and hence particularly open to abuse or maldevelopment.)

At the same time, politically correct aberrations are kept alive by manipulation and grotesque excesses of subsidisation until they mature into genuine catastrophes.

Thus, the assumption that coal is not worth discussing and nuclear energy simply a deadly abomination is taken for granted almost by everyone, when the evidence is far more positive, indeed indicative of tremendous progress, to say nothing of the prospects of further research and development.

Incidentally, like Friends of Science Society who posted the above video, I do not think carbon dioxide (CO2) is an issue in terms of affecting global warming, which I consider a boon to the extent it does take place. In fact, I hope that CO2 concentrations are going to keep growing to support a greening of our planet.
