High Temperatures, High Sea Levels, and Low CO2 Concentrations - The Past, When CO2 Didn't Matter

Once more: a case of the biter bit - alarmists refuted by the very logic of their models.

We have already seen that alarmist temperature projections depend chiefly on water vapour levels (rather than CO2 concentrations) that have not materialised.

Here is another fatal empirical refutation of the fundamental assumption of CO2 alarmism — neither high temperatures nor (derivatively) elevated sea levels are wedded to high CO2 concentrations. Instead, looking at the evidence from the last 10 000 years,

we can affirm that both surface temperatures and sea levels can and do rise and fall without any meaningful contribution from atmospheric CO2 concentration. Therefore, it can be concluded that other internal mechanisms, and not CO2 concentrations, are the driving influence impacting both surface temperatures and sea levels.

In der Zeit zwischen dem frühen und dem mittleren Holozän war der Meeresspiegel (nach von Alarmisten anerkannten Berechnungen) 2 bis 4 Meter höher als heute und die Oberflächentemperaturen überstiegen das heutige Niveau um mindestens 5 Grad. Gleichzeitig war in diesem Zeitraum die CO2 Konzentration in der Atmosphäre mit 260 bis 265 ppm ungefähr 140 ppm niedriger als heute (etwa 400 ppm).

Temperaturen und Meeresspiegel steigen und fallen ohne einen nennenswerten kausal deutbaren Beitrag des Konzentrationsgrads von CO2 in der Atmosphäre.

Eine Theorie, der zufolge CO2 seinen Charakter inzwischen geändert haben soll oder sich andere Wirkzusammenhänge, die von den Alarmisten postuliert werden, seit damals verändert hätten, ist nicht bekannt.
