Sorry for confusing you — I need to switch keyboards; the above sentence in Cyrillic letters has no meaning. It is the result of typing the following sentence on the wrong keyboard:

I found my on-line Russian football "paper".

This is what "Football in Russia" ("Футбол в России") is covering — bear with my below tentative translation:

The source.

In fact, rather than Футбол в России, for learning purposes, it's probably going to be this one: Спорт Экспресс, with live written commentary and jewels like this summary of the second half-time between CSKA Moscow and Krasnodar (1-1):

МАТЧ ОКОНЧЕН. Все-таки во втором тайме голов не увидели.

MATCH OVER. Nevertheless, the second half did not see any goals.

Very useful for checking emphasis and declination of a word is this site. The emphasis of a word changes frequently in Russian, and must be learned by heart as it is not indicated in the written language.

I was going to say golov ("голов" - genitive plural, "of the goals"), but it turns out the term is actually to be pronounced golov.

               Goal - Гол

nominative      гол      голы́

genitive  го́ла голо́в
dative  го́лу гола́м
accusative  гол голы́
instrumental  го́лом гола́ми
Prepositional  го́ле гола́х
